  Their food is of the typical North Americanized Chinese food type but their ingredients seem to be of a better quality than the cheap Chinese buffet types. Their crab legs available on weekends and holidays are always the main reason to go. Unlike other Chinese buffets that tend to serve more expensive items at a much slower pace to control inventory, Mandarin doesn't seem to practice this. There's always a steady flow of this item throughout the night even though it's always gone within minutes of being replenished. I have been going to this location for the past 6 years and their food quality and taste is always consistent. Service is good for a Chinese restaurant as they are pretty attentive with clearing plates and keeping your water glasses filled. They also have a pretty big dessert section.

  Excellent experience. My family and I always go to the scarborough location because it's a little closer to home. We came to this one today and we're definitely not going to any other location. The restaurant was VERY clean, staff was spot on nice and the food was perfect!!! Food was hot, tasty, cold bars were clean and always full. Service was excellent!
