  I visited this park twice but left after about 5-10 minutes each time. The first time was very early spring (first double digit temp. day of the year) and it was so wet that my boyfriend, dog and I could not navigate any area off the paved road. We left after about a minute. The second time – I’ve never seen an open park/conservation area so busy. (Probably a total of at least 100 people – all in small groups playing games, bbqing, etc. It wasn’t one large family reunion.) If you like hustle and bustle, this might be a great place for you on a busy weekend… but to me it felt overcrowded and I wasn’t able to connect with nature like I was hoping. After two misses I won’t be returning to this park.

  Spacious and family friendly. Fantastic for BBQing and family gatherings. Beach is clean. :)

  Every single year I go to a Canada day celebration. So this is the park that's chosen beautiful scenery and over all amazing.
