  So, my mom booked a reservation for today for 30-40 people and when we went to the restaurant it was closed and there were renovation workers there. We asked the workers what was going on and they said that the restaurant contacted the people who made reservations. My mom was NEVER notified of this situation! We had to call all our guests to head over to another restaurant. How inconvenient. My mom is usually one of the nicest people but she was actually really upset with this. Very, very POOR COMMUNICATION. This also wasn't the first negative experience I've had here. In terms of food, go find another Chinese restaurant - they pretty much all taste the same.

  My friend and I got to the restaurant around 8pm on Wednesday. The restaurant was full. There was two pairs before us. There was an empty table for two and the restaurant staff did want customers to use that table. Not sure why. About 10 minutes, the two pairs were sit except us. Finally the cashier told us to sit at that empty table. Before I would like to try out their famous Chicken congree. Then we changed our mind to try out the Lotus Leave Fried Rice with Dungeon Crab. The rice has a strong garlic taste which was good but I didn't taste the Lotus Leave. The crab tasted fresh and the price was reasonable.

  Service is always so so. But more importantly the food that is hk cafe based. Such as baked rice. Are terrible. Black pepper chicken. Over salted. Tomato based. Has a weird flavour. The fishes themselves are not much to be proud of either. The food is so so at best. Definitely not up to par
